Winter
sports
Alpine (slalom/down-hill) skiing in the Cascade Mountains. New to snowboarding, snowshoeing,
and cross-country (Nordic) skiing.
Summer
sports
Camping and trail hiking around the Olympic
Peninsula/Cascades, and mountain biking. Golfing (but not a golfer).
Water
sports
PADI open water SCUBA diving (with additional
dry-suit and nitrox certifications), boating, salmon fishing, crabbing, and
sailing in and around Puget Sound and Lake Washington, as well as in Thailand.
Windsurfing in Lake Washington and “the Gorge” along the Columbia
River.
Other
Photography, range shooting, hanging out at a
cool café with a book, finding a bargain, exploring the city, picnics at
